ShoalsFest will return to Florence, AL on October 1st and 2nd, 2022 with headliners Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.

The third edition of Alabama native Jason Isbell‘s festival will return once again to McFarland Park.

The festival kicks off on Saturday with Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats alongside Christone “Kingfish” IngramDanielle PonderWanda Band, and Steve Trash. Day one of ShoalsFest will also host a special “in the round” performance featuring Isbell, John Paul WhiteChris Tompkins, and Gary Nichols.

ShoalsFest will then wrap on Sunday with a headlining set from Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit in addition to Amanda ShiresJohn MorelandBilly Allen + The Pollies, and Steve Trash. Tickets for ShoalsFest 2022 go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m. CT.

Isbell founded ShoalsFest in 2019 as a way to celebrate the rich musical traditions of Muscle Shoals, AL, home of the legendary FAME Studios and Muscle Shoals Sound with a one-day musical celebration. The event also takes place near the town of Green Hill, where Isbell was born and raised. After taking 2020 off due to the pandemic, ShoalsFest returned in 2021 with two days of music.
